Council Record brings meeting details and available transcripts into one archive. You can search what was said and, when a briefing is available, follow its claims back to the source lines.

What you can do

Browse meetings

Find meetings by date and committee, and open original agendas or minutes where those links are available.

Search transcripts

Search the published captions for a topic or phrase and jump to the matching passage.

Check a briefing

Some meetings have short AI-assisted briefings. Their claims link to the transcript lines used to write them.

How it works

The project collects meeting metadata and available captions, then builds a searchable archive. For meetings with analysis, a model drafts a briefing from the transcript. The publishing process checks that each cited line points to text in the stored source.

A citation lets you inspect the source. It does not guarantee that the briefing interprets the meeting correctly, so the transcript and official documents remain the place to check an important claim.

Coverage

Not every meeting has a published transcript or briefing. Council Record shows source coverage and labels meetings that are awaiting analysis or whose briefing is under review.
